WHAT DO I DO IF MY CAR BREAKS DOWN OR WON'T START?
No problem. Before being towed, call the Claims Department at 855.268.1249. With all plans except Budget, you’re covered for up to $75 of emergency assistance for a mechanical problem, dead battery and more – even flat tires or running out of gas. Just call 855.268.1249 first and keep your money in your pocket.
WHAT DO I DO IF I THINK I HAVE A CLAIM?
Call the Claims Department at 855.268.1249, or File a Claim online through this website. We’ll determine if your problem is covered and tell you what to do next. Either way, just be sure to contact us BEFORE you make the repairs.
CAN I USE MY REGULAR REPAIR FACILITY?
Sure. As long as the repair facility is licensed and is located in the United States or Canada, you can choose any dealer, national chain, or local mechanic to perform the repairs.
WHO PAYS THE REPAIR FACILITY?
We’ll make every effort to pay the repair facility directly so you can keep your money in your pocket. We can pay by corporate credit card or check. If you choose a repair facility that won’t accept our direct payment, you can pay them and we’ll promptly reimburse you.
WHY MUST I GET AUTHORIZATION BEFORE HAVING THE REPAIR DONE?
The claims process is similar to the car insurance claims process in that you can’t get the repair done and then submit the claim afterwards. The customer needs to contact us first. In this way we can not only make sure that the repair is covered, but that it is also fairly priced. This helps us protect everyone from fraudulent claims, and the customer’s out-of-pocket expenses are minimized.
